A unique cookbook filled with homestyle and traditional Turkish cuisine from the home of the Mercan family and served everyday at their restaurant Bizim Ev Hanimeli located in Selcuk, Turkey (located near Ephesus) which is about 20 minutes from the port city of Kusadisi and about one hour from Izmir.

Bizim Ev Hanimeli is proud to provide a Turkish cookbook filled with the traditional favorites served in our restaurant!

For many years our customers have requested copies of recipies and asked for a cook book to take home and be able to enjoy the healthy and tasty home style meals. Cansu Tucker, daugther of Hatice Mercan has been carying on the tradition of sharing Turkish cuisine since marrying her husband in 2007 and relocating to Michigan in the USA. She first began sharing these unique and delicious menu items found in the restuarant by catering to small groups and some corporate customers as well as providing cooking demonstrations at Whole Foods Market in Rochester, MI. However, due to focussing on starting her family and with the birth of her first child in 2009 her plans were temporarily disrupted and it took some time to be able to go back to work.

In order to fully share her love of cooking in general and especially her own favorites found in her family’s restaurant in Selcuk, Turkey (near Ephesus) she wrote and edited many of the recipes her mother has develped over time and been serving over 20 years. Now, after almost 2 years of hard work she has been able to capture these delightful recipes along with sharing personal stories from her family her homeland and about some of the food items.

The cookbook has been printed and is now on sale. It takes about 3 weeks to ship from Turkiye.
